It’s a divination form using a stick or wand as medium. The methods were forerunners of the divining rod. This divination is especially applied to locate water, treasure, or other substances such as oil.

Rhapsodomancy
It’s a divination form by the means of divination by a poetry book or verses whereby the book is opened in random and a passage read.
